2001-2006
In 2001 National RV introduced the Islander luxury diesel pusher motor coach as a collaborative effort between National RV and Country Coach having recently merged.
The Islander was the first National RV built on the innovative DynoMax Chassis developed by County Coach, Inc.
In February 2007 cash starved National RV Holding company sold Country Coach back to Bob Lee (the original founder) and a consortium of investors.

National RV offered the 39-foot 10-inch Islander with one slide in one floor plan in its first year. With a GVWR of 34,400 pounds the Islander is powered by a 330 HP or 370 HP Cummins diesel on Country Coach DynoMax 10TD chassis.
